Founded in 2011 by Jeffrey Volk (Head of Business & Revenue @Deltatre, formerly MLBAM, BAMTech, USTA) and Deepen Parikh (Partner @Courtside Ventures, formerly Interplay Ventures), NYVC Sports seeks to integrate New York City's vast entrepreneurial, enterprise, and investing communities through a curated network of executives -- all at the intersection of the digital and sports marketplaces.

Through monthly panels, debates, breakfast series, business pitches, and other unique events, NYVC Sports integrates New York’s vast entrepreneurial, enterprise, and investing communities. Our network features representatives from each of the professional sports leagues, teams, media players and publishers, as well as select entrepreneurs, agencies, private equity investors and venture capitalists, all of whom focus on New York’s sports and digital.

We tailor our events to focus on most relevant areas of the sports and digital space, including How Startups Can Partner With Leagues, Investment Strategies, Startup Capital, Disruption Trends, Big Data, Innovations in Ticketing, Non-Traditional Events, and a birds eye view of the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London. Future panels will focus on What's Next in Social Media, the Future of Fantasy and Gaming, In-Venue Intelligence, the Relationships between Content Creators and Distributors and more.
